The Epstein files reveal his efforts to connect with some of the travel industry’s most high-profile executives.

The final batch of the Jeffrey Epstein files has been released by the U.S. Department of Justice and they place several of the travel industry's most powerful executives in his orbit.

The documents reveal varying degrees of connection. They mention Thomas Pritzker, who left the role of executive chairman of Hyatt Hotels on Monday; Barry Sternlicht, chairman and CEO of Starwood Capital Group; and Richard Branson, founder of Virgin Group, raising questions about just how comfortably Epstein moved among the people who control some of the world's most recognized hotel and travel brands.

Epstein pled guilty in 2008 to soliciting prostitution from a teenage girl. He died in jail in August 2019 while being held on multiple charges, including sex trafficking.
