American Airlines Will Now Push Flyers to Use Uber

This collaboration further reflects Uber's importance to flyers and business travelers.
Nearly 18 months after United signed a similar deal, American Airlines will bring Uber into its booking process.
After booking, flyers will have the option to set a reminder for them to call an Uber before their flight, and can now be directed by the American Airlines app to the closest Uber pick-up location at select airports.
American Airlines loyalty members will also get some perks out of the deal; AAdvantage Executive Platinum members will receive a code for up to $25 off their next Uber ride, and flyers with an American Airlines credit card will get bonus miles on Uber spending.
