JetBlue Is Finally Joining TSA PreCheck Program
Skift Take
According to a press release from JetBlue, customers who are members of one of the TSA's certified trusted traveler programs can now add their known traveler number to a JetBlue reservation, and check in via JetBlue's mobile app for expedited screening at 22 JetBlue locations in the United States.
JetBlue is the ninth U.S. airline to join the PreCheck program. Its rival Southwest announced it joined last week.
In a twist for the TSA program, flyers must use JetBlue's app to receive expedited screening. Customers using paper tickets will not have access to PreCheck until early 2014.
