Airlines are getting a new tool to track lost luggage: Google’s location-sharing technology. SITA, the airline-owned IT company behind the widely used WorldTracer system, and Reunitus, which operates the NetTracer baggage platform, will integrate Google’s tracking into their systems, allowing travelers to share a bag’s live location directly with airlines.
