Airlines and governments are being forced to adapt to Dehli's worsening winter pollution as visibility drops.
Toxic smog and dense fog have grounded hundreds of flights at Delhi’s main airport, disrupting travel for a third day during India’s peak tourism season.
Hundreds of flights have been cancelled and delayed since Monday at Indira Gandhi International Airport, according to data from Flightradar24.
"Flight services in New Delhi and other northern states have been severely impacted due to dense fog and adverse weather conditions. Several flights bound for New Delhi were unable to land and were diverted to other airports," an airport spokesperson told Skift.
Delhi's air quality reached 493 on December 15, with rankings above 301 considered hazardous. On Wednesday, it hit 480 in some parts of the
