Lebua Hotels & Resorts is out to prove it’s more than just the hotel from The Hangover Part II. The Bangkok-based brand is entering India, building a loyalty program tied to real experiences rather than points, and planning boutique cruises.

Lebua Hotels & Resorts is taking deliberate steps to redefine itself after years of being known as “the Hangover hotel.” The Bangkok-based luxury group is expanding into India, preparing to launch a boutique cruise line, and developing a loyalty program focused on real experiences instead of points — part of a broader strategy to reposition itself for long-term growth. The company’s leadership shared details of the plan exclusively with Skift.

Narawadee Bualert, president and CEO of Lebua Hotels & Resorts, confirmed to Skift that India has become a top-five source market for Lebua and called the country a priority for expansion.
