United Airlines announced Tuesday that it would restore flights to Tel Aviv, becoming the second U.S. carrier to bring back service to the region.

The airline said it would start flying to Tel Aviv March 15 and would add a second daily flight March 29. United added that it had done a “detailed assessment of operational considerations for the region and close work with the unions who represent our flight attendants and pilots,” before deciding to resume service to Israel.

Delta Air Lines previously said it would start flying to Tel Aviv April 1.

A slew of Western carriers have started resuming flights to Tel Aviv after Israel reached a ceasefire deal with Hamas. However, President Donald Trump has said he was “not confident” the ceasefire between Israel and Hamas would hold.

Many airlines canceled service to Israel after the October 7 attacks. In recent months, as the conflict intensified and spread to Iran and Lebanon, some carriers halted flights to Israel indefinitely.

Lufthansa Group, Air France-KLM, ITA Airways and Wizz Air have already started flying to Tel Aviv. British Airways plans to resume its Tel Aviv service April 15.
