>>Gett raised a $300 million venture round from new investor Volkswagen Group bringing the New York City-based startup’s total funding to $520 million.

Gett was founded in 2010 and is a mobile app for on-demand rides and is live 60 cities worldwide including New York City, London, Tel Aviv, Moscow and St. Petersburg, Russia. Unlike Uber, Get doesn’t have surge pricing and offers rides for as low as $1.

>>TourRadar raised a $6 million Series A round from new investors Cherry Ventures, Aws Founders Fund, Hoxton Ventures and existing investor Speedinvest bringing the Vienna, Austria-based startup’s total funding to $6.5 million.

Founded in 2010, TourRadar is an online marketplace to compare and book group tours in nearly 200 countries, and works with about 500 tour operators such as Contiki, G Adventures and Trafalgar. It also has about 50,000 reviews on its site.

>>Porter & Sail raised a $1.23 million seed round from several new investors including Philean Capital, Onlan Capital Ventures and Reese Schonfeld bringing the New York City-based startup’s total funding to about $2 million.

Porter & Sail, founded in 2015, combines a guest-facing concierge app with a suite of digital solutions for guest analytics designed for lifestyle hotels. Destinations currently live include London, Barcelona, Singapore, Miami and Los Angeles. Berlin, Madrid and New York City are launching this summer and two more markets will launch each quarter until year-end.

More than 24 hotels using Porter & Sail such as Miami’s Soho Beach House and the Zetter Group properties. Guests use the concierge app for an average of 33 minutes per trip.
