Skift Take
By focusing on the heart and soul of boutiques, Brosh pinpoints what can't be easily copied by the majors.
Avi Brosh, founder of Paligroup Hotels, spoke earlier this month at the Skift Global Forum.
Brosh is the founder, leader and creative force behind the much-loved Paligroup brands and properties in Los Angeles and Santa Monica, California. Avi spearheads Paligroup’s concept innovation, design direction, development execution, and operational strategies.
Brosh explored what makes boutique properties different as well as what makes them so attractive to major hospitality brands. “I would suggest that boutique hotels, as they’re now known as an asset class, have become spiritually bankrupt,” Brosh told the crowd at the Forum. “They’re being designed by a committee to create an economically viable solution to a building.”
Over the next three weeks, we will publish in full the presentations and interviews from the Forum. To follow along as they are added, bookmark this page.
