American and European tourists have been flocking to Iceland since 2010 and this summer was no exception with air passengers arrivals up nine percent and growth predicted to continue through the end of the year.
Maybe tourism is the biggest industry Iceland govt. should back long term? The signaling from this increase will surely have long term effects for tourism in the country.
Iceland has been hot as a tourist destination since the economic crisis hit, as a great mid-priced European destination. Now, not so more, and will adversely affect the budget tourist for sure.

Iceland is one of the fastest growing and hottest tourist destinations around, and surely Icelandair has a huge role to play in it.
