JetBlue Adds Milan and Barcelona Routes in Premium Push

The expansion into Europe comes as executives have expressed frustrations over JetBlue’s ability to grow in the region. But the new routes will allow JetBlue to capture more high-spend travelers.

JetBlue is expanding its European network with two new routes from Boston to Barcelona and Milan, with seasonal service starting in 2026 as it looks to attract more high-spend travelers.

The Boston-Barcelona route will start April 16, 2026 and the Boston-Milan service will start May 11, 2026. Both routes will be operated on an Airbus A321LR, a long-range version of the jet, according to a spokesperson for JetBlue.

The Milan service will be JetBlue’s longest flight at around seven hours and 45 minutes westbound and around nine hours eastbound. With the two new routes, JetBlue will now offer nine daily nonstop flights between Boston and Europe during the summer.
