Oyo-Parent Prism Unifies Premium Hotels Under New ‘CheckIn’ Brand

Oyo-parent Prism on Friday said it has bundled its higher-end hotels into a single new brand called CheckIn. The collection brings together Oyo’s upscale chains Townhouse, Clubhouse, Sunday Hotels, Belvilla, and Palette. With more than 1,300 hotels across India, Prism said CheckIn is now the country’s largest premium mid-market hotel network.

The move is part of Oyo’s push upmarket. For years, the company was best known for budget stays. But rising incomes in India and changing travel habits have shifted its focus to pricier hotels.
