Aven Hospitality, the former Sabre hotel technology unit that TPG acquired last year for $1.1 billion, is embedding Model Context Protocol (MCP) across its central reservation system.
“AI is reshaping how travelers discover and transact with hotels, but most industry infrastructure was never designed for an agent-driven world,” said Amy Read, Aven’s VP of Innovation. “By embedding MCP directly into our platform, we’re creating a scalable foundation,” she said, while still allowing hotels to maintain control over their data.
