Orlando International Airport Is Having Another Record Year

Skift Take

Vacationers continue to flock to Orlando to see Harry Potter, Mickey Mouse, and some Legos. Hopefully the airport's ongoing renovation project will allow it to accommodate even more flyers in the future.

More than 38 million passengers passed through Orlando International Airport in the past year, making it the busiest year ever for the airport.

Airport officials said Thursday that 33 million domestic passengers and 5 million international passengers passed through the airport from October 2014 to October 2015.

Domestic traffic was up 6 percent and international traffic jumped more than 17 percent during the year.

The airport is in the middle of $3 billion in renovations and infrastructure construction.
