The dark blue silhouettes trimmed with bright orange elements bring a bright, contemporary and sophisticated flourish to the new-look airline.

The airline produced a photoshoot in the old TWA ‘Saarinen Head House’ terminal in New York’s JFK, perhaps one of the most iconic airline terminals in the world. Within the photo-shoot there are glimmers of the full capsule wardrobe that the airline employees are allowed to pick from to create their look.
“Although flight attendants and pilots first come to mind when thinking about uniforms, there is a cadre of other uniformed crewmembers within an airline. All have to represent the brand well (and stylishly), while also comfortably performing their jobs.”
“Those above and below the wing jobs include gate agents, ground operations and the airline’s mechanics. When considering its first update of its uniforms in its 14 year history, JetBlue felt it was important to include feedback from all work groups in this decision. Crewmembers were involved from concept and provided feedback from ideation to implementation.”
Personally we love the fully encompassing brand image, from technical staff to gate agents, and ramp agents, the whole look is considered, modern and fresh. It’s nice to see a contemporary skew with a heritage of waistcoats for men and figure-hugging faux wrap dresses for the girls.
As for the Orange, it’s a genius splash of colour to offset and make the blue look stronger and more noticeable, whilst being less ‘drab’ than other corporate navy blue uniforms can sometimes suffer from. Awesome JetBlue. Now make the move and bring the JetBlue experience to the Saarinen terminal.
