AA is putting substantial effort into its mobile offerings with its app on more devices than any other airline and as an early adopter of Passbook. It hopes it will pay off with an eventual revenue boost from mobile payments.

Phillip Easter heads this team as director of mobile application development and strategy for American Airlines, bringing more than 20 years of IT experience and five years of mobile to the role.
