National Geographic expands its Traveller magazine franchise to India
Skift Take
NGT doesn't get the media love that rivals Conde Nast Traveler and Travel + Leisure command, but it has more subscribers and speaks to a much wider (read: not as rich) audience.
The National Geographic Society’s newest export is the Indian edition of National Geographic Traveler, which debuted on July 6. Partner is Mumbai-based ACK Media … which also publishes National Geographic in the country.
There are about 30 international editions of NG. NGT now has 15, with the 1 million combined circulation more upscale than the 715,000 rate base in the U.S.
