Even as jet fuel costs continue to rise, Delta expects to increase its first-quarter guidance as premium demand remains strong.
Delta CEO Ed Bastian said Tuesday that demand has been healthy, with the carrier seeing some of its highest sales days in its history over the past month.
“Healthy demand — it's across all segments, covering corporate, covering international, covering premium leisure, covering main cabin, covering our domestic system. We're seeing strength in every market that we look at,” he said at the JPMorgan Industrials Conference.
Sales have increased 25% year-over-year, Bastian said.
