Airbnb is considering letting property managers create business profiles instead of appearing as individual hosts — a change aimed at making account management more efficient and reducing confusion for guests.
That's the word from two property managers who attended Airbnb's first invitation-only national host summit, which took place at headquarters in San Francisco this week.
Skift is the first to report some of the highlights of the closed door general session and breakout meetings, which were attended by roughly 150 professional hosts Tuesday to Thursday.
Airbnb showed attendees several mockups of new business profiles, although summit participants were not permitted to take photos of them and had to sign nondisclosure agreements.
