Skift on your smartphone just got better

On Monday evening we launched an upgrade to the Skift experience on smartphones. We wanted to make it easier for readers to discover, read, and share our stories on their iPhones and Android devices, as well as the six people out there who use Windows Phone or BlackBerry.

We launched the site with the help and leadership of our friends over at Polar Mobile, who do a better job of explaining all the nuts and bolts of it over at their website.

The basics work like this:

  • Click on a story
  • Scroll to the bottom
  • Flick to your left to read another story

If  you poke the icon in the bottom left, social sharing functions will pop out. Use these to email or to post to Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, or LinkedIn.

The top nav contains a link to the latest stories in the Skift logo, and the same top-level categories you'll find at the desktop and tablet site are in the top right corner. If you want to ditch the smartphone experience and view the full site, there's a link to it in this drop down.

If you have any comments or feedback about the experience, jump into the comments below and let us know.
