Airports acknowledged for their superb digital presence in new ‘Moodies’ awards

Skift Take

As airports aim to become more though-out destinations with better design and retail options, they’ve also improved their online UI and engagement making it easier for flyers to communicate and understand what's waiting for them on the ground.

The Moodie Report announced the winners yesterday of its first-ever competition to find which airports, travel retailers, and food and beverage operators have the best digital presence.

Representatives from The Moodie Report, Appleyard Communications, and BBC Future Media & Technology/BCC Online judged the 160+ submissions.

The categories included Facebook pages, Twitter feeds, websites, best use of digital media on the concourse, and overall use of social media.

We’ve included the airport winners below, and if you’re interested, see here for the complete list of winners.
