Companies like Uber and Airbnb have shaken up all sectors of travel, and are now seeping into the managed business travel world as well.

According to a survey report done by corporate travel giant Carlson Wagonlit Travel's CWT Travel Management Institute, the barriers to use these type of sharing economy services in managed travel are coming down, which means travel managers are increasingly aware and looking to integrate these services, whether they like it or not.
