The New Airline Trying to Crowd Fund an All-Business Class, Trans-Atlantic Service

Everything about an all-business class, trans-Atlantic airline screams 2004, with the exception of the crow-funding bit. That, frankly, doesn't make us any more optimistic.

Odyssey Airlines wants the crowd to fund their business ambitions, announcing on April 30 that they intend to use Crowdcube to raise the nearly $8.5 million it needs to "enter the next phase of development," which will help their business-only airline concept to fly. The airline expects to have raised sufficient funds by July of this year, to supplement funding they've already raised, including and an additional $3.7 million raised via a peer to peer loan from the ThinCats platform coordinated by Freedman & Partners in
