Announcing Skift’s Future of Travel Global Forum, Oct 9th, NYC

Skift Take

We are creating a forum that matches the world's largest industry's scale and ambition, and playing its part in creating the Future of Travel.

When we started Skift about 20 months ago, we wanted to build a global business information brand in that speaks about the travel industry in a bigger voice, that understands and deciphers the bigger picture between all the sub-sectors and speaks beyond the functional silos in it.

Details on 2015 Skift Global Forum, Oct. 14-15 in Brooklyn, NY

Now approaching two years of our existence, and as the largest industry information site in travel globally, our mission is very clear: We are changing how the world’s largest industry looks at itself, and how it projects itself to the world.

With that in mind, we are announcing our flagship event, Skift’s Future of Travel Global Forum. The first forum will be held on October 9th in New York City, at The TimesCenter.

This is the first event of its kind focused on the top strategists, technologists, and marketers in travel, the people defining the Future of Travel in 2014 and beyond.

Think of it as a creative business forum, with carefully curated topics and speakers to inspire you — the professional in travel — about the business and creative promise of sector.

Our Global Forum will help you understand the changing trends in travel across sectors, geographies, and the functional silos in travel industry. We’ll explore the intersections between airlines, airports, hospitality, destinations, attractions, activities, cruises, and digital travel players. In other words, the Skift voice you know and hear every day, in a bigger in-person forum.

Check out the Save The Date site for the Forum, and we will be adding the topics, speakers and other details soon. The early bird ticket sales will start in May, put your name on the list to be notified when it starts, and if you’re interested in sponsoring, email us at [email protected].
