United Now Offers Flat-Bed Seats and In-Seat Plugs on All Cross-Country Flights

The competition for cross-country flyers will heat up as carriers attempt to outdo one another with the best in-flight experience, even if only a fraction of road warriors can afford it.

United Airlines announced today that 28 flat-bed seats will now be available on all of the carriers' transcontinental flights from New York City to San Francisco and Los Angeles.

The upgraded p.s. Premium Service is now available on 15 redesigned Boeing jets that fly from JFK Airport to SFO and LAX airports.

In addition to giving flyers room to sleep, the BusinessFirst cabin also provide flyers with multi-course meals, power outlets and USB ports in every seat, and wi-fi available for purchase.

The economy class also received on an upgrade on each of the jets with Economy Plus seats with 5 extra inches of legroom, in-seat plugs, personal entertainment systems, and Wi-Fi available for purchase.
