Airbnb Is Testing Airport Pickups. Are Flights Next?

Airbnb likely sees how flights are driving Booking Holdings' connected-trip vision. The timing is unclear, but it needs flights if it wants to be a true "travel concierge."
Airbnb is experimenting with airport pickups and other scheduled private car transfers in several regions outside North America, signaling the company’s latest push to broaden its travel services beyond accommodation.
"We are regularly testing new product updates, categories and initiatives, in order to provide the best possible experience for our community," an Airbnb spokesperson said Monday. "As part of that, we’re piloting a scheduled private car transfer service in select cities throughout EMEA, APAC, and LATAM.”
