While loyal fans can pay as little as $60 for World Cup tickets, other travelers can expect to spend $4,000-plus for a seat at the tournament.
FIFA on Tuesday announced a new pricing strategy offering World Cup tickets as low as $60 after receiving pushback from fans.
But only a few hundred low-cost tickets will be available for each match across the 16 North American host cities. The tournament will still need to draw in travelers willing to drop hundreds, if not thousands, on tickets.
