Skift Global Forum 2017 On-Stage Videos Are Now Live
Skift Take
If you didn't have a chance to attend Skift Global Forum in New York City last month — or even if you did — there's plenty to glean and revisit from nearly two dozen videos from the speaker program that we have posted on YouTube here.
From Airbnb co-founder and chief strategy officer Nathan Blecharczyk discussing the company's China strategy and regulatory battles to Delta Air Lines CEO Ed Bastian announcing a new texting service and lashing out at proposed government tariffs, the videos depict lots of give and take in one-on-one sessions with Skift journalists. The entire 2017 lineup is embedded above.
Unlike some other conferences, these interviews weren't fluff. Wyndham CEO Geoff Ballotti was told his hotels are "unsexy" and "uncool." TripAdvisor CEO Stephen Kaufer was asked why there has been so little product innovation at the company in recent years. Both Ballotti and Kaufer pushed back against these premises.
These videos are now available above and on Skift's YouTube channel for you to peruse — and share — at your leisure. We know some companies have been anxious to share them with employees internally at their companies.
Over the next few weeks, we will also be publishing stories about each of these videos, highlighting news or trends that the interviewed executives discussed at the Forum.
