A statement from Los Angeles World Airport said Monday that 10 airlines have cancelled 99 arrivals and 101 departures.

The airport says some airlines are repositioning aircraft at LAX and other regional airports to prepare for the immediate resumption of flights as soon as weather conditions permit.

Ontario International Airport reports no flight cancellations due to Hurricane Sandy.

Officials advise that passengers and motorists picking up passengers check with airlines to verify flights to and from the East Coast, Midwest and London.
