Hilton is trying to put business travelers' heads in beds on the weekends, and this incentive program may lead some road warriors to tack on a leisurely stay with family for the weekend.
Hilton Hotels is looking to entice business travelers to stay for the weekend as it is handing out 1,000 bonus points for stays Thursdays through Mondays.
Hilton HHonors members who stay Thursdays through Mondays at 10 Hilton brands November 1, 2012, through December 31, 2012, will get 1,000 bonus points per night added to their accounts, but they must register for the promotion at HHonors/1000Reasons before their initial checkout. They then would receive 1,000 bonus points per night for Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday night stays.
Brands participating in the promotion include Waldorf Astoria, Conrad Hotels, Hilton Hotels, DoubleTree, Embassy Suites, Hilton Garden Inn, Hampton Hotels, Homewood Suites, Home2 Suites, and Hilton Grand Vacations.
HHonors points accrued from the promotion don’t count toward elite tier qualification, Hilton says, and it may take up to eight weeks after the stay for the bonus points to appear in your account.
