With stunning architecture, great restaurants, rich cultural life, and a great outdoors scene Chicago's is easily one of the U.S.'s top cities. But it won't get 50 million visitors if it allows its citizens to keep murdering one another.

Chicago has combined two tourism offices into a new one called Choose Chicago.

The city launched Choose Chicago this week with an announcement of new international offices, improved visitor centers and a goal of attracting 50 million visitors by 2020.
