Holiday Inn’s parent company, IHG, is taking the healthy travel trend one step further with its brand new EVEN brand. Built on the the back of a global trend that saw hotels, airports, and cruises offering healthier cuisine, exercises facilities, and wellness retreats; EVEN is offering wellness amenities seen at high-end hotel for mid-range rates.

The brand is built on four pillars. It wants guest to eat better, exercise more, sleep deeper, and work more effectively.

EVEN will open the doors to its first property later this year, although the specific location has yet to be announced. IHG expects to open 100 EVEN hotels over the next five years in U.S. cities including Boston, Washington D.C., New York, Los Angeles, and San Francisco.

The flagship property is set to open in 2015 in New York City near Grand Central.

EVEN joined Facebook and starting tweeting in the winter of 2012 when IHG first unveiled the brand. The brand’s voice succeeds at coming across as an energetic runner who tends to complete 5Ks before signing off on business deals.
