Red Roof President George Limbert is stepping down from his role, effective July 12, to pursue interests outside of the hospitality industry. Mohamed Thowfeek, board member of Red Roof, will oversee the day-to-day operations as the company begins its executive search.

Red Roof will open 50 properties, new builds and conversions, in 2023, representing 60% year-on-year growth.

The key to success in its road ahead lies less in the countries where it will develop its presence but more in the developers it is partnering up with.
