Doing what GoEuro is attempting to do, collecting and structuring all the data necessary to bring all of these varied transportation modes together, is harder to do than squeezing into a rush-hour subway in Times Square. But, someone's got to do it.

It’s only a matter of time before European governments loosen their grip on state-owned transport data, a trend that’s slowly developing and improving tech innovation as it grows.

This could be a very valuable service for any company that can really accomplish its goals. With ground transportation, in particular, being so fragmented, $4 million can lay the groundwork, but GoEuro will have to be in it for the long haul.
