US Airways lets passengers track their checked bags

If your checked bag isn't on your flight, at least you can start borrowing clothes or plotting strategy early, and you won't be waiting for disappointment around the luggage carousel at the airport when you land.

Travelers checking luggage on US Airways are about to be a lot happier.... You can now track your bag's status in real time at baggagetracker.usairways.com.

This makes US Airways the second big U.S. airline to turn on this service (Delta was first), which effectively gives regular people a window into what airline staff see.
