Skift Is Looking for a Luxury Travel Reporter

Skift Take

We are looking to "Skiftify" the luxury travel industry. Are you up for it?

As Skift is expanding its scope of coverage into various sectors of travel, we are now looking at the business of modern luxury travel.

We are looking for a dedicated freelance reporter who can report and write stories on a weekly basis on the business of selling luxury travel, the people and companies creating and selling luxury travel experiences, the emerging trends in luxury travel, and the changing consumer habits around the sector.

The reporter will be familiar with both the hospitality industry — from the large chains to strong independents — and adjacent spaces including retail, fashion, and food, that influence luxury consumer habits.

Required: business reporting experience in the business of luxury travel. Consumer luxury writing experience will not make the cut for us; business reporting experience is essential.

Preferably based in New York City area, but open to other parts of the United States as well.

Compensation: Attractive freelance rates with guaranteed consistency of work.

Email us with a cover and resume at jobs@skift.com.
