Video: What Food & Beverage Innovations Teach Us About the Future of Hospitality
Skift Take
Up until a few years ago none of designer Afroditi Krassa’s clients were hoteliers.
At that point in time the design agency she founded had mainly dealt with restaurateurs. Then something happened and people in the wider hospitality industry began asking for her help.
Speaking at the Skift Mini-Forum at World Travel Market London, Krassa explained why she thought things had changed.
“There’s been a massive revolution in the last 20 years within the restaurant industry, and suddenly the rest of the hospitality industry wants a piece of it. They want a piece of that sexy, disruptive thinking that these small, restaurant entrepreneurs have come up with and disrupted the whole way we see design, experience, branding within the hospitality sector," she said.
