Pepijn Rijvers doesn't bring a ton of experience in the tours and activities sector. But he's a veteran in the online travel agency sector and in marketing, which will play a big role in Viator's prospects.
Tripadvisor tapped a former Booking.com executive to lead Viator as president at a critical juncture.
Pepijn Rivjers, who left Booking.com in 2020 after serving a year-and-a-half as senior vice president and managing director of accommodation, is slated to begin his stint as Viator president on April 1, and will report to CEO Matt Goldberg.
