We are thrilled to have Katerina join us in one of her first interviews as the new CEO of Jumeirah Group. With over 20 years of experience in business leadership, operations, hotel development, asset management, and strategic advisory, Katerina brings a wealth of transformative business experience to the role at this Dubai-based luxury brand. Tyler Morse – Chairman and CEO of MCR Hotels
Morse will be taking the stage to discuss the importance of technology and consistency in operations for the hospitality industry and his take on the big trends impacting hospitality. Morse has deep experience in driving success and profitability for his properties. MCR is the 3rd largest hotel owner-operator in the United States with 22,000 guestrooms in 148 hotels in 37 states and 106 cities, including distinct properties like the TWA Hotel at New York’s JFK Airport, the Pasadena Hotel in Los Angeles, and Miami’s Hilton Blue Lagoon.
Merilee Karr – Founder and CEO UndertheDoormat Group
Merilee Karr is the CEO and Founder of the short-term rental company, UnderTheDoormat and Chair of the UK Short Term Accommodation Association. She will join Henrik Kjellberg, Group CEO of Awaze, on stage to shed light on the blending of lodging as vacation rentals come to age, how rentals need to professionalize and standardize, and the growth opportunities ahead as the sector supply continues to grow and meet the demands of consumers.
