Vacation and short-term rentals depend on one thing: Connecting homeowners with guests. Here's how innovative technology is making that easier and more efficient.

We will be hosting our third summit next week devoted to the short-term rental and outdoor industries. The latest iteration comes less than six months after our last event in this space, spurred on by the rapid pace of change in the last year brought on my large demand during the pandemic.

For a sample of what you can expect, we wanted to share a session from December’s event that features Philip Kennard, co-founder and CEO of Futurestay, and Brian Egan, co-founder and CEO of Evolve Vacation Rental. Both executives spoke with Skift Research Analyst Wouter Geerts about the democratizing power of technology that’s being used to reach vacation and short-term rental homeowners.
