SKIFT GLOBAL FORUM | SEPTEMBER 21-23 | ONLINE CONFERENCE | OPENING EVENT: Travel’s Future Meets The Present World

This year’s Skift Global Forum — the flagship global conference on the business of travel, happening on Sep 21-23, live on U.S. ET timezone — is just a few weeks away. We have re-envisioned much of our SGF event for this year’s virtual format and our opening event is no different, featuring three brilliant leaders sharing their perspectives one-on-one as a high-level intro to the event.

Join Us Online for Skift Global Forum – September 21-23

At 4 p.m. ET on September 21, SGF attendees will kick off the conference with Travel’s Future Meets the Present World, featuring fireside chats with:

  • Barry Diller, Chairman and Senior Executive, IAC; Chairman and Senior Executive, Expedia Group, and Director, MGM Resorts
  • Laurie Garrett, Award-Winning Science Writer and Author of The Coming Plague
  • Darren Murph, Head of Remote, GitLab

This 90-minute SGF opening event will feature each speaker in discussion with Skift CEO and founder Rafat Ali, and Editor-in-Chief Tom Lowry. We’ll cover the future of the industry and opportunities for travel out of this crisis with Barry Diller, the pandemic’s impact and potential paths forward for testing or a vaccine with author Laurie Garrett, and finally we’ll explore the strategies to adapt to this new remote work world with GitLab’s head of remote Darren Murph.

This opening event leads up to two jam-packed days of conference talks on September 22 and 23, where we’ll hear from top CEOs and leaders in travel from Booking Holdings, Delta Air Lines, Marriott, Accor, JetBlue, IHG, Expedia Group, United Airlines, and more to discuss what’s next and how to drive the industry’s rebound, as well as a series of topical “deep-dive” conversations that will focus on the sectors that are changing rapidly in 2020. You can check out the agenda here.

Get your pass today. Starting at $195, this ticket price is far less than our in-person pricing and as our team works tirelessly to bring this event to life, this reflects our effort to make SGF affordable for the widest possible industry participation. We hope you will join us.
