Zim Ugochukwu, founder of Travel Noire, spoke at the Skift Global Forum about the growing global community of black travelers.

While the travel industry has a clear diversity problem, consumers are more diverse than ever and they're clamouring for attention from brands. Ugochukwu's talk ran through a litany of stats that many in the industry aren't familiar with, from the $48 billion spent on domestic travel by African Americans to the
17% of them who take one or more international trips annually.
