In-Flight Wi-Fi Provider Gogo Teams Up with Amazon for Card-Free Payments

Gogo has always done an excellent job making it easier for passengers to pay quickly. It used iTunes account info early on and the Amazon method is a logical next step.

In-flight Wi-Fi service provider Gogo announced Tuesday that flyers can now pay for connectivity via Amazon Payments.

The new partnership allows flyers to access Wi-Fi without re-entering their payment information and billing address. It also helps them avoid finding or reaching for their credit card in an already small space.

Travelers will have the option to pay with Amazon Payments on all tablets, laptops, and mobile devices the next time they fly. A "Pay with Amazon" icon will appear among the payment options.

Gogo's in-flight service is available on American Airlines, AirTran, US Airways, United, Delta, Virgin America, Alaska Airlines, Frontier, and Air Canada.
