Yelp updates Nearby feature to suggest businesses based on location, user data

Yelp promises that Nearby is “just the beginning” as it goes head-on with Foursquare to offer mobile location-based searches that are useful to travelers in most major global cities.
Yelp today announced it has revamped its Nearby feature in its iOS app with suggestions.
Yelp says the newly updated Nearby tab, currently only available on the iPhone, now offers suggestions based on your location, previous check-ins and reviews, friends’ activity, the time of day, the weather, and so on.
