Skift Take

Over half of surveyed adults believe that people binge drink, cheat, and overspend while away on business. But take the data with a grain of salt as the company behind the survey promotes virtual events.

Recently On24, a company focused on webcasting and virtual events took a closer look at the problems associated with the so-called “work / life balance.”  The company provided an online survey, conducted by Harris Interactive, of over 2,000 American adults called “Your Time, Your Life, Go Virtual”. It was divided into three sections to examine attitudes on work / life balance and its impact on people’s lives. The results revealed the often-bizarre incidents that occur on business trips and the “bad behavior” people believe occurs while they’re away.
