Online travel agency Express Bookers to close immediately due to insolvency
Skift Take
The UK company ceased trading today and advised customers with hotel bookings that they’ll have to rebook, although travelers with airline tickets should still be able to travel.
Express Bookers, whose management team previously held “various senior management positions with TUI and Thomas Cook”, said in a statement, that it had ceased trading with immediate effect, and that all customer enquiries should be forwarded to aftersales@expressbookers.co.uk.
The OTA is owned by Craig Jay, who previosuly worked at Thomas Cook for 10 years. The company is also understood to have sold through the trade.
