China's healthy domestic travel has helped fuel much of Marriott's recovery after the crushing collapse at the start of the pandemic. But will that be enough for the hotel giant without a strong corporate travel market?
China has been the engine of Marriott’s recovery on many levels, group president Stephanie Linnartz told hospitality reporter Cameron Sperance during Skift Forum Asia. She also highlighted the Work from Anywhere day pass program at certain markets and hotels in the U.S., Asia, and Europe that enable guests to use a Marriott hotel room as an office for the day.
