American outbound travel shifts from primarily leisure trips to business trips in the fall, likely leading to the increase in overseas travel in comparison to earlier months.
Some 2.1 million U.S. citizens traveled abroad in November 2014, up four percent over November 2013, according to monthly statistics released this week by the U.S. National Travel and Tourism Office.
