Video Of The Week: A Handful of Myanmar

A short visual and musical journey through Myanmar (Burma), by film-maker Berta upe Tilmantaitė.

Me and my friend Lucas were traveling on a boat for 24hours from Yangon to Pathen and stayed on the deck with all other people – locals, traveling to small villages along the river. They enjoyed following every move we make as if they were watching TV and also enjoyed being photographed and seeing their pictures on the camera screen. One little girl, came to us and brought a handful of fruits. It seemed that all Myanmar fits in those small hands.
