Update on delays and cancelations at cruise ports along the east coast

Cruise ships already out at sea with passengers onboard will weather out the storm at sea as ports have closed to cruises from Canada to the Caribbean.

The Atlantic hurricane season may be just a month away from ending, but its not going away quietly. Hurricane Sandy caused havoc in Jamaica, Cuba and the Bahamas and is now bringing damaging winds and rains to states along the easter coast of the Mid-Atlantic U.S. Cruise ports all along the eastern U.S. are currently shut down including Norfolk, Baltimore, Bayonne and New York City. Carnival canceled its October 28 Carnival Glory and Carnival Pride sailings altogether.
